Mission Statement Our mission statement is three-fold:
Professional Military Simulation (MILSIM) In the spirit of the British infantryman, our military simulation (MILSIM) standards are strict to ensure endurance in the field and to maintain the proper, authentic, wartime image. Only by creating and maintaining such high standards in uniform, equipment, and attitude can we respectfully represent veterans of the King's Own Scottish Border- ers (KOSB) Regiment who served and died during the Second World War (1939-45). We emphasize professionalism, integrity and proper deportment at all events we attend as a group.
Each year, we remember the sacrifice made by British, Commonwealth and American heroes by laying a wreath at a local WWII monument in Texas. In connection with the XXX (30th) Corps British WWII Reenactors Association, we lay a wreath at a monu- ment to collectively remember those Allied soldiers who paid the ultimate sacrifice and to instill in our unit, the reason we exist - to honor the service and sacrifice of the long- suffering, "poor bloody infantry" (PBI) of the British Army. |
