During the battle for the bridge, we became hopelessly mired on the bridge by German fire.

One of the highlights of the "Battle for Nancy, France 1944" WWII Showbattle and Encampment
was the CAF flyover at noon on Saturday, which included T-6 Texan's, C-47 (with invasion
stripes), and various other aircraft from the CAF's vast inventory.  Our sincere thanks to all
squadrons who took part to truly make this event a major success.
